The message
Send us your occasion, colour story, and any reference — a single reel or photo is enough to begin.

Made to your moment
Message us and we'll make yours. Send a reel or photo of the dress you love, choose your colour, fabric, and size, and we handmake and hand-finish it with care for the day you are planning.
Made to brief
Made to order begins as a conversation, not a catalogue. You bring the occasion, the colour, and a reel or photo; we suggest fabric and embroidery directions, then handmake the piece to your size until it is right.
The process
A clear path from first message to handover, so ordering feels considered rather than uncertain.
“We would rather take an extra fitting than send a dress that almost fits.”Kabul Fashion
Send us your occasion, colour story, and any reference — a single reel or photo is enough to begin.
We talk through fabrics, embroidery, and colour, then source the materials for your piece.
Your piece is made to your measurements, with hand embroidery and finishing done with care.
Pick it up in Adelaide or Melbourne, or we post it to you anywhere in Australia.
Made for youMade to order, not off the rack
No two Afghan and Hazaragi pieces are quite alike — the weight of the coinwork, the depth of the colour, the way a hem is finished. Tell us what you love and we choose the fabric that suits your story, then handmake the embroidery and detail around it. Nothing is pulled off a rack to fit a deadline.

Craft language
Every made-to-order piece is built from the same shared vocabulary of Afghan and Hazaragi craft. Choose the elements that belong to your piece.
Coinwork · lapis · velvet · silk · mirrorwork · gold thread
Rows of metal coins stitched across the bodice — sound, shine, and movement that mark celebration.
Deep-blue lapis lazuli set into our sterling silver — the stone Afghanistan has mined for centuries.
Structured velvet for ceremonial weight, silk for the drape and light that celebration portraits love.
Hazaragi shal shesha — hand-stitched glass beadwork that catches candlelight across the dance floor.
The brief
None of this has to be polished. Send what you have and we shape the rest together — most orders begin with a single reel or photo and a date.
Two or three tones you want to live in. Saffron and ivory, lapis and gold, ember red — a feeling is enough.
Eid, a nikah, a henna night, an engagement. Tell us the day and where you sit in it.
Send us the reel or picture you keep returning to. A neckline, a silhouette, an heirloom dress — we read the rest.
We send a short measuring guide. If you are unsure, a recent well-fitting dress tells us a great deal.
The event date and any fittings you can travel to. The earlier we begin, the calmer it stays.
Collect it in store at one of our boutiques, or we ship across Australia. We plan the handover around where you are.
Coinwork, beadwork, and fittings cannot be hurried. Here is how the weeks usually fall, so you can plan your celebration with room to breathe.
Lead time
A typical made-to-order piece runs eight to ten weeks. Bridal and multi-look sets need a little longer — tell us your date and we will be honest about what is possible.
“A calm ten weeks beats a rushed three. We plan backwards from your celebration.”On timing
We talk through your occasion, palette, and references, then agree a direction and a clear quote before anything begins.
We share fabric, embroidery, and colour options so you can choose the tones and details for your piece.
Cutting, embroidery, coinwork, and assembly. This is the patient stretch where the piece takes its shape.
First fitting, then refinements to drape, length, and detail until the garment sits exactly as it should.
Final steaming, styling, and jewellery direction, then collect it in store or we ship it to you across Australia.
The handoverThe last step
When the piece is ready we steam it, style it, and talk through jewellery and final touches. Collect it in person at one of our boutiques across Adelaide and Melbourne, or we send it in protective packaging built for embellished garments, with care notes so it arrives ready to wear.
“The last thing we hand over is calm — a dress that is steamed, styled, and ready to be worn.”The handover
In their words
I found my Eid dress on their reel and messaged the same night. They set it aside, checked my size, and it was ready when I walked in. The hand embroidery is even better in person.Sahar M.Eid — Adelaide
